Introduction
IRGS Publisher (International Research & Global Society) is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. Plagiarism in any form is considered a serious violation of publication ethics and will not be tolerated. All manuscripts submitted to IRGS Publisher journals must be original works and must properly acknowledge the contributions of other researchers.
This plagiarism policy applies to all authors who submit manuscripts to journals published by IRGS Publisher.
Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism refers to presenting another person’s ideas, text, data, or research work as one’s own without proper acknowledgment. It may occur intentionally or unintentionally and includes, but is not limited to, the following practices:
- Copying text, data, or ideas from another source without appropriate citation.
- Submitting work that has been written by someone else while claiming authorship.
- Reusing significant portions of previously published work without proper referencing (self-plagiarism).
- Paraphrasing content from another source without crediting the original author.
- Using figures, tables, or images without proper permission or citation.
Plagiarism Detection
All manuscripts submitted to IRGS Publisher journals are screened using plagiarism detection tools before entering the peer review stage. The editorial team carefully examines similarity reports to identify potential instances of plagiarism or unethical copying.
Manuscripts with high similarity or suspected plagiarism may be rejected at this stage.
Acceptable Similarity Limits
To maintain originality in published research, IRGS Publisher follows strict similarity guidelines:
- Overall similarity index: Up to 15%
- Similarity from a single source: Should not exceed 5%
Manuscripts exceeding these limits may be returned to authors for revision or rejected depending on the extent of overlap.
Actions in Case of Plagiarism
If plagiarism is detected during the editorial or peer review process, the editorial board may take one or more of the following actions:
- Immediate rejection of the manuscript.
- Request for correction or rewriting in cases of minor similarity.
- Notification to the authors' affiliated institutions in serious cases.
- Temporary or permanent restriction on future submissions.
If plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to:
- Retract the published article.
- Publish an official retraction notice.
- Inform relevant academic institutions or organizations.

Authors submitting manuscripts to IRGS Publisher must ensure that:
- Their research work is original and free from plagiarism.
