Introduction
IRGS Publisher (International Research & Global
Society) supports fair and inclusive access to academic publishing. We
understand that some researchers, especially those from developing regions or
institutions with limited financial resources, may face difficulties in paying
Article Processing Charges (APC).
To encourage wider participation in scholarly
publishing, IRGS Publisher offers a waiver policy for authors who may not be
able to afford publication fees.
Eligibility for Fee
Waiver
Authors may request a partial or full waiver of the
Article Processing Charge under certain circumstances, including:
- Authors
affiliated with institutions in low-income or lower-middle-income countries.
- Researchers
who do not have institutional funding or research grants.
- Early-career
researchers or students with limited financial resources.
- Authors
experiencing exceptional financial hardship.
- Each waiver request is carefully evaluated by the
editorial office on an individual basis.
How to Apply for a Waiver
Authors who wish to request a fee waiver should
contact the editorial office either during manuscript submission or after the
manuscript has been accepted.
The waiver request should include:
- A
brief explanation of the financial situation.
- Any
relevant information regarding funding limitations or institutional support.
- All waiver applications are handled confidentially,
and the decision will be communicated to the corresponding author.
Editorial Independence
Granting or denying a waiver does not influence the
editorial decision. All manuscripts submitted to IRGS Publisher journals are
evaluated solely on academic quality and follow the same rigorous peer review
process regardless of the author's ability to pay publication fees.
